  • Indigofera Buck Jeans Shiroyama Denim 18oz

Buck is our slim tapered and mid high rise fit jean. It’s designed to be comfortable to wear and fits well for those who prefer a bit slimmer fit but not the tighter skinny look and feel. The leg opening sits just nicely over boots and works well for sneakers too.

  • Indigofera Swearengen Hickory Stripe Twill 12oz

Regular Waist, Slim Leg, Hickory Stripe 12oz.

Fabric by Nihon Menpu Japan exclusively for Indigofera.

Hank Dye, 100% Cotton, 3BY1 Twill Construction. Cut and sewn in Portugal. 9oz cotton Twill pocket.

This Fabric is Indigoferas tribute to the classic striped hickory twill fabric once associated with work wear among railroad workers. The two different colored warp yarns give the fabric the vertical stripes . By using the 3-by-1 twill construction the fabric remains smooth but still duarable compared to plain weave. The hank dye technique allows the dye to penetrate the yarn deeper , resulting in low contrast fading over time.

"The lustre and fading of indigo is like no other. Indigofera, the latin name of the plant group that you extract the color from, will always be a beacon of clarity for us. Prima (Swedish for prime quality) is the mission and. the overall control function of the brand - the best fabric, cutting, sewing and attention to detail to make the pieces last. We have a strong appreciation of heritage yet sometimes want to adjust and make things even better and more fitting for today. We want to make pieces that just work and last longer. Most fabrics are woven specifically for us in limited quantities. Everybody who wears Indigofera becomes part of the process, as our garments wear and age individually with each wearer."
